Short Sales and Foreclosure Resource

What Is the SFR Certification?

The Short Sales and Foreclosure Resource (SFR) certification is awarded by the National Association of REALTORS® to agents who have completed specialized training in distressed property transactions. The short sale and foreclosure process is complex for both distressed homeowners and interested buyers, and consumers on both sides of these unique transactions need the help of a knowledgeable real estate agent with the expertise and confidence to get them from contract to close.

Not every agent has this training. June does.

What Does SFR Mean for You?

Whether you are a seller facing financial hardship or a buyer looking to purchase a distressed property, working with an SFR-certified agent makes a real difference. Here is what June's SFR certification means in practice:

For Sellers in Distress

June knows how to work with distressed sellers and the finance, tax, and legal professionals who can help them, qualify sellers for short sales, develop a short sale package, and negotiate with lenders. If you are behind on payments, facing foreclosure, or simply need to sell fast, June has the training to help you understand your options and protect your interests throughout the process.

For Buyers Seeking Opportunity

June has access to valuable information that helps her advise and protect buyers as they pursue short sale and foreclosure opportunities. These transactions move differently than traditional sales, with longer timelines and more complex negotiations. Having an SFR-certified agent in your corner means you go in prepared, not surprised.

For Both Sides

June has the skills and confidence to successfully guide clients through these complex, lengthy transactions. From first contact to closing day, she knows what to expect and how to keep things moving.

Why June's SFR Certification Is Different

Many agents have credentials. June brings something most cannot: she understands pressure. As a 20-year Army veteran who deployed to Iraq and served as a Supply Chain Logistics Officer, June has navigated high-stakes situations with precision and calm her entire career. Short sales and foreclosures are stressful transactions. June is not rattled by them.

Your goals are her mission. Whether you are trying to protect what you have or find an opportunity in a challenging market, June is ready.
